How to create it
- Type an address (“Eiffel Tower, Paris”) or coordinates (“48.8584,2.2945”) for pinpoint accuracy.
- Generate and test-scan: your maps app should open with the pin and directions.
- Print for storefronts, invitations, and site signage at 3cm or larger.
Addresses become Google Maps search links; bare coordinates become geo: links many camera apps open directly in the preferred maps app. Coordinates are worth the extra effort for rural venues, trailheads, and new developments where addresses resolve poorly.
Businesses: pair a location code with a Google Reviews code — one gets customers to you, the other captures the five-star visit afterward.

Frequently asked questions
Address or coordinates — which is better?
Coordinates pin the exact spot; addresses are friendlier for city venues. Use coordinates wherever the address is ambiguous.
Does it work on iPhones?
Yes — scanning opens the location in Apple Maps or Google Maps depending on the device and link type.
Can I include my business name?
Search links carry the address text; for a branded place page, encode your Google Maps business share URL as a plain URL code instead.
